The transcript from the Anderson Cooper 360 show on CNN. Everyone's thoughts?

I've ordered the video/dvd of that episode. Read parts of the transcript, pretty interesting.

Did anything jump out at you?

My assessment of these movements is that they are bastardizations of the Word and the movements are trying to recruit more followers/money by enticing them with worldly goods and wealth. Their message looks like it's aimed mainly at the middle-class and above and implying that poverty is God's curse.

To me, God's message is clear:

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Everything else - wealth, health, etc., is just a bonus but not necessarily guaranteed.
